Me (Emma Michaels), Becca Fitzpatrick and Heidi R. Kling at the Orange County Children’s Book Festival!
(October 3rd 2010)
As I said, unlike my main review blog this is going to be my more personal/review/books. Which means personal and novels! So let me say:
I can HARDLY wait for my signing in Orange County with Lauren Kate, Becca Fitzpatrick, Jessica Brody, Maria V. Snyder and other absolutely amazing authors! Obviously, I will be there with my novel The Thirteenth Chime and my swag in hand. I am hoping to get pictures with the authors and guess what…
I have a VIP tag and bracelet which gives me extra access but I also have a press pass for my other blog: http://EmmaMichaels.Blogspot.com !!!!
I am soooo thrilled! I just love some of authors I am getting to meet and can hardly wait! I won’t forget the fans who have already told me they are coming! I can hardly wait to meet you all and will be posting any pictures I can take on here!!! If you want to go and haven’t heard about the festival it is free and here is the link:
I will be flying out on Friday to spend some time with family before I go. Feel free to e-mail me if you want a copy of The Thirteenth Chime set aside for you. We are only bringing so many copies and are already expecting to sell out! Yeay!!!
Sincerely,
Emma Michaels
Hmmm… I haven’t traveled much in my life so there are many places I would love to go. Currently, I think it is a tie between Brazil, Japan and The United Kingdom! Thanks for asking!
Sincerely,
Emma Michaels
Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers! My Teaser:
“A terrible noise, like a heartbroken child’s cry, pierced the night, and my gaze, which had been fixed on the grisly pyre, shifted to a place near the head of the bench. Dragon Lankford was there on his knees.” Tempted (House of Night #6) – page 164
Sincerely,
Emma Michaels
Hey everyone! My name is Emma Michaels, author of The Thirteenth Chime. I am a blogger over at http://EmmaMichaels.Blogspot.com but thought it would be nice to also have a blog that was more personal where I could share my favorite quotes, images and more. I am really looking forward to using this and getting to know new people. I will still be posting my book reviews and updates and announcements about my writing career and keeping up with my blog. Looking forward to getting to know you all!

Sincerely,
Emma Michaels
